Responsibilities
? Receive pre-recorded audio notes from physicians.

? Review audio recordings for content accuracy.

? Transcribe recordings into type-written format using word processing equipment.

? Transcribe various medical reports including patient histories and physical examinations.

? Review transcribed documents for accuracy and submit them to medical records.

? Translate medical jargon and abbreviations into expanded forms for clarity.

? Transcribe a minimum of 100 documents per week.

? Complete work regularly and on time.

? Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
? Must be able to operate word processing and transcription equipment.

? Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is required.

? Understanding of medico-legal implications related to patient record transcription.

? Ability to type quickly and accurately.
