Job Description of Shipping and Receiving Associate:

Efficient warehouse operations at FedEx require the Shipping and Receiving Associate to handle the movement, storage, and dispatch of goods. This responsible role involves tasks such as loading and unloading shipments, sorting packages, accurate documentation, and storage. A successful execution of the duties leads to enabling timely... deliveries.

Key Responsibilities of Shipping and Receiving Associate:
? The assignment of managing the movement of packages onto and off of delivery trucks and trailers.
? Monitor stock levels and promptly restock items as necessary to avoid shortages.
? The act of preparing packages for shipment involves tagging, sealing, and protecting them with appropriate materials to ensure safe delivery.
? Operate a variety of material handling machinery, such as Hand Trucks and Pallet Jacks, within the warehouse.
? Implement inventory checks and maintain precise records of arrivals and departures
? A clean and organized warehouse is crucial for avoiding safety risks and hazards for all individuals.
? Provide support for the smooth execution of shipping and receiving activities.

Qualifications of Shipping and Receiving Associate:
? Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
? Strong organizational and time-management skills.
? High school diploma or equivalent.
? Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 pounds.
? Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
? Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems
