Video Editor – Interview-Based Content Sprint (Fixed Price)

Remote Full-time
We’re hiring a senior video editor for a short, focused sprint turning long-form executive interviews into a polished content library. Project: ~11 hours of interview footage ~100–115 finished clips (short-form, host-less) - Interviews feature senior leaders across finance, construction, development, ops, and HR - Goal: create a cohesive, trust-building content library for investors, recruiting, and brand This is not basic chopping. You’ll act as an editorial partner—selecting strong stories and shaping them into clean, watchable clips. What You’ll Do: - Watch interviews and select the strongest moments (no timestamps provided) - Cut the host out entirely (audio + video) - Create clear text hooks in the first 2–3 seconds to replace the question - Deliver ~100–115 clips across: Hero stories + Soundbites + Operational / process clips - Package each clip with video, transcript, and metadata How We Set You Up - You’ll receive an editor toolkit on Day 1: - Brand kit (logos, fonts, references) - One-page “cheat sheet” with themes, keywords, and voice rules - Question/context summaries so overlays are accurate - Metadata spreadsheet template (no guessing, no rework) Timeline: - Fixed-price sprint ~75% of footage ready immediately - Remaining footage delivered by mid-December - Target: first full batch of rough cuts within 4 weeks of hire - Includes 2 rounds of standard revisions Requirements (Non-Negotiable): - Strong command of spoken and written English (native or fully bilingual) - Experience editing unscripted interviews - Comfortable using text overlays to drive story - Organized file management and naming discipline - Able to work independently and move quickly How to Apply: Please include: - 1–2 examples of interview clips with text overlays (host-less preferred) - Screenshot of a real project folder from a past job (organization matters) - Confirmation of English proficiency - Fixed price to deliver the full library (100+ clips) We are not bidding hourly. We’re looking for a partner who can own delivery end-to-end. Why This Is a Good Project: - Clear scope - Clean inputs - Serious brand - No micromanagement - One focused sprint, not an endless drip of revisions If you’re an editor who cares about structure, storytelling, and execution quality, this will be a good fit.
