Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tokenomics Expert to join our innovative team. This is a critical role responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing the economic models and incentive structures for our blockchain-based products and protocols. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of blockchain technology, game theory, and financial economics, with a proven ability to translate complex concepts into practical, sustainable token designs. This position requires a proactive individual who can work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to drive the success of our Web3 initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop robust, sustainable, and innovative token economic models for new and existing blockchain protocols and applications. • Conduct comprehensive quantitative analysis, simulations, and modeling to assess the viability, stability, and security of token designs. • Research and stay abreast of market trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory developments within the blockchain and cryptocurrency space. • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, legal, and research teams to ensure tokenomics are aligned with product vision, technical feasibility, and legal compliance. • Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and whitepapers to articulate tokenomics proposals, assumptions, and outcomes to internal stakeholders and external communities. • Iterate on token models based on feedback, market performance, and evolving project needs. • Provide expert guidance on incentive mechanisms, governance structures, and value accrual strategies for decentralized networks. • Support the successful launch and ongoing monitoring of token systems, providing analysis and recommendations for adjustments as necessary. Required Skills • Expert-level understanding of blockchain technology, decentralized finance (DeFi), and Web3 ecosystems. • Proven experience in designing and implementing token economic models, including utility tokens, governance tokens, and NFTs. • Strong quantitative modeling, statistical analysis, and simulation skills. • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis and modeling. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex economic concepts clearly. • Familiarity with game theory, mechanism design, and behavioral economics principles. • Solid understanding of smart contract functionality and blockchain security considerations. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, remote-first, and highly collaborative environment. Preferred Qualifications • Master's or Ph.D. in Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field. • Prior professional experience in a dedicated tokenomics, quantitative research, or blockchain strategy role. • Active participation or contributions to open-source blockchain projects or research communities. • Experience with various Layer 1 and Layer 2 blockchain protocols (e.g., Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum). • Track record of publishing research or thought leadership content in the blockchain domain.
