Legal Intake Assistant

Job Description: • This is a remote position. • Our client is looking for a full-time Legal Intake Assistant to support their legal team with intake and administrative casework. • This 100% remote role is ideal for a bilingual legal professional who is proactive, analytical, and experienced in legal practice—particularly employment law and litigation. • They operate within the legal services industry and have built a strong reputation over the past years for their dedication to defending employee rights. • Their commitment to providing high-quality legal support to underrepresented communities has positioned them as a trusted resource in employment litigation. • Responsibilities Conduct initial legal intake consultations with prospective clients in Spanish and English. • Analyze case details, ask clarifying and relevant legal questions, and document findings accurately. • Identify and escalate high-priority or qualified leads to attorneys. • Provide administrative support and assist with case-related tasks as assigned. • Maintain client records and intake logs with a high level of confidentiality and detail. • Collaborate with legal staff to ensure accurate, timely, and effective intake handling. Requirements: • Fluent in both Spanish and English, written and spoken. • Comfortable interacting with clients via phone, email, and video calls. • Exceptional communication and organizational skills. • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency and responsiveness. • Ability to handle confidential client information with discretion. • Law degree with legal practice experience (in home country is acceptable). • Prior work in employment law or litigation is strongly preferred. • Familiarity with U.S. legal intake processes is a plus. • Experience working with legal CRMs or case management systems is an advantage.
