IT Auditor - Financial Services

Overview Our client, a leading global financial institution, is seeking an experienced IT Auditor at the Lead or Manager level for a project-based engagement. This contract role is fully-remote. This professional will play a key role in planning, executing, and reviewing IT audit activities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal controls. Responsibilities • Assist with the execution of IT audit projects from planning through completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards. • Participate in audit project planning, execution and review. • Perform testing of IT controls, including application, infrastructure, and cybersecurity controls. • Review audit workpapers and findings prepared by team members to ensure accuracy and completeness. • Collaborate with stakeholders across Technology, Risk, and Compliance to address audit issues and recommend remediation. • Develop and maintain audit documentation, including risk assessments, test plans, and reporting deliverables. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other related fields • 5+ years of relevant IT Audit experience within financial services • Proven experience in audit project planning, execution, and review at a Lead or Manager level. • Familiarity with risk-based audit methodologies and industry best practices. • Qualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S. • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future.
