Our team is responsible for designing and implementing efficient solutions to manage the flow of goods through the center mile network. We are committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences by leveraging cutting-edge technologies, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data analytics. **Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our SPEeD team in California. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable data solutions to support our business growth. You will work closely with our product managers, senior engineers, and other stakeholders to identify business needs and develop innovative solutions to drive business outcomes. **Key Responsibilities** * Design, develop, and deploy scalable data solutions using a range of technologies, including AWS, Apache Spark, and Hadoop * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions * Develop and maintain ETL pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes to support business intelligence and analytics * Work with large datasets, including relational databases, NoSQL databases, and data warehouses * Develop and deploy machine learning models to drive business outcomes * Participate in code reviews, ensure high-quality code, and follow best practices for software development * Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of data solutions * Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data engineering and analytics **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field * 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on designing, developing, and deploying scalable data solutions * Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines * Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns * Experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud * Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or Scala * Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with AWS innovations, including Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM jobs and authorizations * Experience with non-relational databases, including object storage, report or key-value stores, graph databases, and column-family databases * Experience with machine learning frameworks, such as TensorFlow or PyTorch * Experience with containerization, using Docker or Kubernetes * Experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment **Skills and Competencies** * Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions * Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams * Strong technical skills, with a focus on data engineering, cloud computing, and machine learning * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines * Strong attention to detail, with a focus on ensuring high-quality code and data solutions **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** As a Full Stack Data Engineer on our SPEeD team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.
