Database Specialist / Data Entry Specialist
Position Details: • City/State: Phoenix, AZ (Local candidates only) • Address: 1802 West Jackson #100, Phoenix, AZ 85007 • Hours/Week: 40 • Shift: Day (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) • Duration: Approx. 9 months • Travel Required: No • Security Clearance: Yes (HireRight background check & drug screening required) Responsibilities: • Accurately and efficiently enter health-related data into electronic systems. • Maintain data integrity by following data quality and control guidelines. • Identify and prevent duplicate entries within databases. • Organize and manage both paper and electronic records. • Assist with obtaining missing information from laboratories and other data sources. • Provide administrative and clerical support to Bureau staff. • Handle confidential health information in compliance with ADHS confidentiality policies. • Maintain a secure, private workspace where sensitive information cannot be overheard. Minimum Requirements: • Education: High School Diploma or higher • Experience: • Minimum 2 years of experience in data entry • Experience in the healthcare or public health field • Must be able to provide own computer or laptop (equipment not supplied) Preferred Qualifications: • Experience using medical data systems such as: • MEDSIS (Medical Electronic Disease Surveillance Intelligence System) • EHARS (Enhanced HIV/AIDS Reporting System) • PRISM • Prior medical or epidemiological data entry experience Apply tot his job
