Our team of Certified Nursing Assistants play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to patients. This position will also take on responsibilities of a Health Unit Coordinator SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLE! Two Specialties, One Unit Our team of highly skilled and experienced women’s health nurses provide care to women and families throughout the labor and birth process as well as during the acute postpartum period. Women's Meridian delivers around 125 babies per month in their 10-bed labor unit. Their families recover and prepare for discharge in our 10-bed postpartum unit. They have two dedicated ORs on their floor as well as a level 2 NICU right down the hall. They adhere to AWHONN standard staffing ratios. Culture Meridian Women's Services is committed to the patients they serve and to one another. With a heavy emphasis on teamwork and collaboration, they utilize SafetyTogether tools to promote a culture focused on safety. They are also committed to continuous learning and offer many opportunities for ongoing education. What you can expect from this role • Nights (1900-0730) - Full Time or Part Time • 3 x 12 hour shifts or 2 x 12 hour shifts per week • Days (0700-1930) - Full Time or Part Time • 3 12 hour shifts or 2 x 12 hour shifts per week • Pay Differential applies for these openings based on shifts • Through documentation and oral communication, essential information is shared with health care team members and others common to the unit/area(s) of assignment • Eligible to apply for scholarships to pursue nursing education Qualifications Licenses/Certifications: • Current CNA Certification in the State of Practice OR Nurse Apprentice letter • American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification What’s in it for you: At St. Luke’s, caring for people in the communities we serve is our mission – and this includes our own SLHS team.
