Business Development & Marketing Associate

Liberty Moving & Storage is seeking a Business Development & Marketing Associate to help expand their brand presence and generate organic leads. This hands-on role involves relationship building, marketing execution, and supporting the sales team through outreach and event attendance. Responsibilities Actively build relationships with: Real estate offices and teams Realtors tied to shipments we service Relocation and move managers Property managers, condos, rentals, and doormen Designers, senior living communities, estate services Corporate, education, government, and commercial decision-makers Open doors and book in-office meetings and opportunities for sales reps Attend networking events, trade shows, and community events as a Liberty representative Maintain a consistent in-person presence across NYC, Long Island, Westchester, Connecticut, and New Jersey Execute a structured follow-up strategy for partners we touch: Calls, texts, emails, and LinkedIn/social media engagement Ensure every realtor tied to a closing or listing we service is contacted and nurtured Support OA/DA partnership revitalization efforts (other moving companies in and out of our network) Assist with: Social media posting and engagement Basic reporting and dashboards Designing simple one-pagers, flyers, and sales materials Help maintain consistent Liberty branding across outreach and events Track all outreach, meetings, events, and touchpoints Maintain a clear weekly activity report and dashboard Help identify relationship value, opportunity trends, and growth areas Skills 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales support, marketing, or a related field Strong communication skills (phone, email, in-person, and social) Comfortable attending events and representing a brand professionally Organized, self-motivated, and execution-oriented Basic familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook) Basic familiarity with Google Workspace or similar tools Basic familiarity with simple design tools (Canva, PowerPoint, etc.) Willingness to be in the field regularly, in front of people, and on the phone Industry experience preferred but not required Benefits Mileage and event expenses covered Cell Phone cost covered Company Overview Take the stress and hassle out of any move with Liberty Moving and Storage.
