Basketball AI Assistant (Automation Developer)
I’m a college basketball coach looking to automate my daily basketball research workflow. The project will create a simple assistant that sends a 6:00 AM daily email summarizing: JUCO recruit performances D2 West Region results (team and box scores) The email should include clean tables (FG% / 3PT% / FT% / Points / Rebounds / Assists) and short summaries (e.g. win streaks, standout players). A complete Product Requirements Document (PRD) has already been written and will be shared with you. It contains detailed logic, data flow, and examples — your job is to build the MVP version. Key Deliverables Script that runs daily (cron or time trigger) Pulls game and box score data from provided sources (ICS feeds, team/conference pages) Computes FG%, 3PT%, FT% from box stats Generates formatted email with: Two sections (JUCO Recruits + D2 Opponents) Tables + short text summaries Win/loss streak recognition Sends automatically via Gmail or similar (Optional bonus) Add-on later: “Games today” preview or Slack/Telegram delivery Apply tot his job
